US to World: It's Just Fine To Execute Queers!

We're okay with this for gay people.
So this happened. It's not enough that we have a vice president who's firmly locked in the loving embrace of SLPC-certified hate group, the Family Research Council. No, we've gotta have the cuddly-wuddly, little rabbit-faced Nikki Haley as US Ambassador to the UN, where she can vote against a measure that would ban the execution of gays for the heinous crime of being gay.

Pence, you'll recall, a man who won't be caught alone with a woman other than his wife and who built his public career on the hatin' of the gays, was practically thrown out of Indiana for his misbegotten support of that state's Religious Bigotry Freedom Restoration Act, which allowed businesses to discriminate against gays based on religious bigotry belief. For her part, Nikki Haley's own history on LGBTQ issues has been (ahem) less than stellar.

We're okay with this, too.
To think, just yesterday I was railing about the fauxtrage over gay wedding cakes. Today, with SCOTUS poised to take up this vitally important issue, the US has voted with such forward-thinking countries as Botswana, Burundi, Egypt and Saudi Arabia (which recently made news by finally allowing women to drive) by voting against a measure that called for an end to the execution of gay people for the heinous crime of being gay.

Apparently we as a nation are perfectly fine with that. Oh sure, Haley and others immediately tried to walk it back and put some distance between themselves and this loathsome vote. But actions speak louder than words here, particularly when we're siding with countries that routinely stone gays to death, or push them off of tall buildings. Nothing to see here, move along.

And this.
Remember when Candidate Trump said he'd be the biggest friend to the gays that the world has ever seen, b'lieve me? Good times, good times. I can't remember if he said that before, or after naming the nation's biggest anti-gay bigot as his running mate, but never mind. The point is, none of us were fooled. With friends like these, who needs a firing squad?

This administration is vile from top to bottom, pure and simple. It's not just this horrific UN vote, it's everything and everyone associated with Donald Trump and every Republican in Congress who enables him. Evil, every single one of them, and Nikki Haley is no exception. Jesus christ, It's 6 AM and I already need a drink, and I fucking hate these people for that.

  1. Concise and on point in every respect. Aside from my towering rage, total mortification, and general OMGWTFBBQ state of being, it's my lack of ability to immediately undo these heinous crimes (the crime here being *our* vote to kill folks for being honest) that adds epic frustrations the mix.
